Android/Unity Developer
Build Android and Unity solutions that bring machines to life and make complex technology intuitive to use.
About us
CPAC Systems develops advanced control systems for marine and industrial applications. Since 1999, we’ve been turning complex operations into intuitive experiences. With 250 employees, a portfolio of 80 patents and more than 500,000 delivered products per year, we drive innovation in everything from electrification to intelligent automation, always working at the intersection of safety, efficiency and user experience. As part of Volvo Group, our role is to lead advanced technology development and explore.
The role
At CPAC Systems, Unity plays a key role in many of our products. We use it to visualize machines, create digital representations of real-world systems and provide intuitive user experiences for operators and vehicle owners.
We're looking for a developer who enjoy working where Android, real-world technology and advanced visualization meet. Whether you come from an Android background with Unity experience, or from Unity development and want to grow your Android expertise, this could be the perfect opportunity.
Unlike traditional Unity roles focused on gaming, our applications support real users operating real equipment in demanding environments. You will work with complete products where Unity is one important component among many. Together with Android applications, backend services, connectivity solutions and machine integrations, you will help create solutions that improve productivity, usability and safety.
What you will do

Create and integrate Unity-based visualizations and interactive experiences
Build solutions that connect to vehicles, machines and external systems
Work with communication technologies such as REST, WebSockets and gRPC
Collaborate with UX designers, system architects and hardware engineers

Work directly with customers to understand operational needs and user workflows
Contribute to software architecture, performance optimization and long-term product quality
Key qualifications
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or similar
2-5 years of professional software development experience

Who you are
You enjoy combining software engineering with visual and interactive experiences, and you are curious about technology and new ways of solving interesting engineering challenges. You thrive in an open and collaborative culture where people share ideas, help each other and have fun along the way.
We believe great products are built by understanding the people who actually use them. That means getting close to the machines, learning how they work and understanding what it is like to sit in the operator’s seat and use the technology in a real environment. Most of all, you are motivated by seeing what you build come to life in real products and make a difference for the people using them.
