Your role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will work on some of the most exciting and technically challenging projects in our industry. Our products operate in demanding environments, which makes close collaboration between mechanics, electronics, verification and testing essential. You will be part of a competent and engaged mechanical team, contributing to solutions that truly make a difference for our customers.
Drive innovation by presenting creative ideas and technical solutions
Take part in the entire product lifecycle – from concept and design to industrialization, production, maintenance and quality
Test early prototypes in our mechanical lab, equipped for vibration testing, temperature cycling, humidity testing and more
Collaborate closely with your colleagues in electronics, environmental testing, software and systems to deliver high-quality products on time
Take responsibility in areas such as project management, purchasing and supplier communication
Occasionally visit our manufacturing facilities in Europe
Key qualifications
A university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Development, or a similar field
+5 years working as a Mechanical Design Engineer
Strong skills in tool-bound design of plastic and aluminum components
Good experience in developing production fixtures and test equipment
Very good knowledge of CREO/PDMLink or similar 3D CAD tools
Good working knowledge of Windchill or similar PLM systems
The ability to work fluently in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written
It’s a plus if you have worked with KOLA or have experience running simulations in CREO Simulate or Ansys.
